Release 1.3.2: Inbox Improvements and Better App Security

release-1-3-2

In this update, Chative focuses on enhancing the Inbox functionality, optimizing Settings, refining the Payment process, and improving security.

Improved messaging experience in the Inbox

  • Automatic scrolling to the most recent message when opening or revisiting conversations.
  • When searching for keywords, messages containing the keyword will appear in the conversation preview. Even if the conversation ends with a note, only messages with keywords will be displayed, excluding any indication of notes.
  • Fixed an issue where notes were sent unintentionally while agents were adding customer labels, even though no action was taken to send the note.
  • Resolved the issue and will no longer create empty conversations when customers view messages from Facebook Messenger for conversations initiated before connecting to Chative
  • Fixed several issues related to the Zalo channel:
    • Display of names and avatars for customers interested in the business’s Zalo OA channel.
    • Resolved the issue of being unable to reply to customers sending anonymous messages via Zalo. You can now reply to messages from anonymous Zalo users.
    • Addressed the problem of the Zalo channel automatically disconnecting after a period of time.

UI/UX Improvements

  • Clearer and consistent timestamps and date formats throughout the app.
  • Appropriate language in the Reports section according to English or Vietnamese settings in the App language.
  • Fixed display issues when clicking on the email change field in Customer Information.
  • Fixed page reload issues; sections will remain in a loading state until all data is fully loaded. Then, sections and details will be displayed.
  • Updated the tooltip in the Quick Access section to display the specific number of conversations.
  • Consistent capitalization of feature names throughout the app.
  • Improved text color differentiation for original messages when replying with a note, helping to clearly distinguish between original messages and reply notes.

Settings Improvements

  • Fixed an issue with setting up live chat language in the Translation section on new accounts.
  • The live chat preview mode will automatically switch when editing corresponding sections such as greetings, notifications, etc.

Payment Process

  • Additional add-ons are charged based on the actual number of days used in the current billing cycle. No excess charges from the start of the cycle to the time of purchase.
  • Immediate billing for additional add-ons and new members purchased in the first month, without delay to the following month.

Fix for Brute Force Refresh Token Vulnerability

We have addressed a critical security issue in our refresh token system. Previously, there was a vulnerability that allowed attackers to guess refresh tokens through brute force attacks, potentially leading to unauthorized access. Special thanks to @ancorn_ for identifying this issue.

Chative believes this update will significantly improve your experience with the app. We always value your feedback and encourage you to share your thoughts on these new improvements.

We hope you find Chative effective in your work!
